How much does it cost to register for tryouts?
Registration for tryouts is free. We ask that you register prior to the first day of tryouts.
How much does it cost to play?
Should your player commit to a team, finances are categorized as club fees and team fees. Each family is solely responsible for club fees and team fees. Beyond player club fees, each team acts as an independent entity to determine what and how team fees for the season will be collected. Typically, club fees is $650-$1400 per player per year and team fees are typically $50 - $150 per player per season. Team fees include such items as the coach’s travel reimbursement (hotel, per diem and mileage) for games outside of Williamson County. Uniform kits cost $120. Financial Aid is available for those players that qualify.
Am I trying out for a certain team?
All prospective players tryout for the Club and not a specific team. Your player will go on the most appropriate team for his/her age and skill level. The most skilled players will go to the highest-level team.
How many teams will there be at each age level?
The number of teams at each age level will depend on the talent at each particular age level.
How does the selection process work?
The highest-level team coach will select his/her players first. Upon confirmation of the first team selection, the second team will be selected and so on.
How will I know if my child is selected?
The coach will notify you by telephone, as soon as possible. Everyone that attends the tryouts will be called.
What is the time commitment?
Competitive soccer involves a true time commitment from both players and parents. When you are selected for a team, your coach will tell you the practice days and when practices will start. The coach will also identify the tournaments he/she plans to enter. Your child will be expected to be at every practice, team camp, and league and tournament games. As soon as you get the dates from your coach, put them on your calendar and schedule other activities around them!
