Sandy grew up in Ayrshire, Scotland with a rich history of soccer. Sandy played throughout school and then in amateur leagues.

10 years Staff Instructor for Tennessee Coaching Schools conducting E and D Licences.
1988 Boys
Three Division 1 State Championships and Two Premier League Titles. They were Region 3 Finalists only losing in the Final to the Dallas Texans who were 3 times National Champions. The 1988 Boys as U 18’s also won the Raleigh Shootout, the Bethesda Cup and participated in the Showcase Bracket at Disney, almost all of them went on to play in college, most at Division one.
1990 Boys
Two Division 1 State Championships and two Division 2 State Championships as well as two Premier League titles. They were 5 time winners of GIT in Memphis and many other Platinum tournaments. Almost all went on to play in college, most in Division one.
1993 Boys
Two Division 1 State Finalist and one Premier league Championship.
1995 Boys - One Division 2 State Championship
1997 Boys - One Division 2 State Championship, TSSA Boy’s Competitive "Coach of the Year"
